The Food Update Konsult is also developing itself in consulting for food businesses in Nigeria and other West African countries.
The Food Update Konsult will also use their experience in publishing to develop magazine and Television programmes that will communicate and challenge the food manufacturers, retailers, consultants, government and regulatory agencies working within the confines of food and its allied.
The Food Update Konsult in totality will take on these four cardinal core areas; Food Business Advisory, Technical Consultancy, Publishing, Training and Development.
The Food Update Konsult is working tireless to ensure acquire updated knowledge and get necessary up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and utilizing this knowledge to maximize the value-added services to our clients.

Affiliation
We have been accredited by International HACCP Alliance (IHA), USA to conduct certification in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), USA to conduct SIX SIGMA and Lean Manufacturing and we are still working on other certification bodies such as Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Food Safety System Certification (FSSC), British Retail Consortium (BRC) and International Standard Organization (ISO) and Safety Quality Food Certification (SQFC) for their accreditation. Our instructor is a certified expatriate from USA.

Wale Adegbuyi
ADEGBUYI, ADEJARE OLAWALE, A SEASONED FOOD TECHNOLOGIST, COMMUNICATION EXPERT
Adejare O. Adegbuyi is a Senior Partner with Food Update Konsult, he is a graduate of Food Science and Technology. He has a National Diploma (ND) in Food Science and Technology from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, and a Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech), in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State (FUTA).
He has just completed his Masters of Technology (M-Tech) degree programme in Food Science and Technology from FUTA (Food Safety option).
He also acquired entrepreneurial training with Fate Foundation in 2003 at Water House and also trained in Acting and Film Production Management with Senior Network Playhouse, where he graduated in 2005.
He is a certified Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) expert, having successfully taken the class and passed the Basic & Advanced Certification examination under the International HACCP Alliance (IHA), USA. He is a Yellow Belt Certified having successfully taken the class and passed his examination under Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), USA. He is also certified in Safety Quality Food (SQF) System – Manufacturing having taken the examination and passed, he is also certified in Food Safety & Hygiene and Warehouse Management: Inventory, Stock, & Supply Chains (CPD Certification Services) as well as Food Safety Preventive Control Alliance (FSPCA) – PCQI – Human Food.
He is a member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), USA, Nigeria Institute of Food Science & Technology (NIFST).
Currently, he just completed work on “Nutritional Composition and Safety Status of some Street Foods Vended in Selected Local Government Area in Lagos State, Southwestern, Nigeria.” The project is being supervised by Prof. T. N. Fagbemi and co-supervised by Dr. S.O Ijarotimi.
He worked on “Varietal Response of Maize Grains to Hydrothermal Treatment in the Production of “Tuwo Masara” (A Traditional Maize Gel)” as his Bachelor of Technology thesis in May 2002. The project was supervised by M. K. Bolade.
He also worked on “Production of an acceptable Vanilla-Flavoured Mail drink from Sorghum” for his National Diploma thesis in March 1998, which was supervised by A. F. Eleyinmi.
He had also authored and co-authored publications in international journals on “Street Foods in Southwest Nigeria: Food Safety, Culture, Health, and Governance” (IAFP Annual Conference, Arizona July 18 – 21, 2021)
He is a co-author of “Cooking and Sensory Characteristics of Macaroni Noodles Made from Blends of Cassava Starch and Durum Wheat Semolina at (Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual General Meeting June 25 – 28, Las Vegas, NV 2017”
and “Varietal Responses of Maize Grains to Hydrothermal Responses of Tuwo-Masara (A Traditional Maize Gel in Nigeria)” A. O. Idowu-Shadrach & A. A. Odugbemi (Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual General Meeting July 12 – 16, Las Vegas, NV 2004.
He was a contributor to a book; “Yinka Qaudri… Scent of a Legend” (Chapter Three) Edited by Steph Ogundele, and Published by Albasit Communications in 2014.
Wale Adegbuyi is very dynamic with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He is very energetic, daring, and adventurous. He is also committed to whatever he is doing once he’s convinced that it is right, legal and it is of value to the human race.
He worked with the Ministry of Communication (Nigerian Postal Department) as a school certificate holder between 1992 and 1996.
He had his internship with the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO) and Nestle Nigeria Plc. He worked with Spectra Food Limited in 2004 and joined the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology as a Communications Officer and later moved up the ladder to become Administrative Secretary a few months after his employment.
He resigned in 2006 to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams, but challenges came up and it swept every fortune of the business away.
But as an enterprising young man, he often believes he can always make things work. He has consulted for different organizations within the bracket of his core competence, which varies from Food Science to Marketing, Media, and Communications.
He has published about 30 different editions of his brainchild; “Movietainment Magazine” and organized Movietainment Achievement and Corporate Awards (MACA) for individuals that have done well in their various capacities in life and professionally.
He has served and still serving in different committees to serve people and organizations voluntarily, and he’s an ardent believer.
He has attended several conferences, seminars, and training programmes in and out of the country.
He recently handed over as the National Public Relations Officer of the Federal University of Technology Akure Alumni Association Worldwide in the just concluded election of November 2021 and also handed over Public Relations/Welfare Officer of the 84/90 set of African Church Grammar School Alumni Association December 2023.
He is married to a beautiful lady and they are both blessed with male and female children he has toured 32 states in Nigeria and a few countries in West Africa and the USA.

Dr. Dayo Odugbemi
Dr. Odugbemi is a Food Scientist with a doctoral specialization in Food Policies and Regulation. He graduated from the prestigious Purdue University in Indiana USA with a degree in Food Science.
He has worked in the US food industry for the last 20 years with a global and international reputation. He has expertise in the beverage, bakery, dairy, milling, confectionery, as well as the meat and poultry sectors of food processing. He is a multiple award winner for excellence in food processing and a widely acclaimed author of several peer-reviewed journals and publications.
Dr Odugbemi is a prolific instructor and teaches many food safety, quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement classes. he has facilitated and instructed classes in almost all continents of the world. As a seasoned food safety auditor, he has audited many food facilities globally. He currently works as the Global Director of food safety for one of the largest food firms in the world.
He is a member of several international organizations and societies relating to food processing. A widely sought-after speaker at conferences and conventions, Dr Odugbemi has presented at many fora, discussing the future of food processing. He is also the Otunba Akeweje of Ofiki in Oyo State.
Dr Odugbemi is also a Deacon in his local church. He is married to Tolu and blessed with two beautiful daughters.
