The Food Update Konsult is positioned as a leading force in the food industry, specializing in the certification of food professionals and facilities. In addition to its core certification services, The Food Update Konsult is expanding its expertise into consulting for food businesses across Nigeria and other West African countries, supporting growth and compliance throughout the region.
The company is also actively developing its own farming system, focusing on both cash crops and livestock. Furthermore, the Food Update Konsult is organizing an international event, the Nigerian Food Research, Development, and Manufacturing Summit (NFRDMS), scheduled to hold its inaugural edition in 2030.

Affiliation
We have been accredited by International HACCP Alliance (IHA), USA to conduct certification in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), USA to conduct SIX SIGMA and Lean Manufacturing and we are still working on other certification bodies such as Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Food Safety System Certification (FSSC), British Retail Consortium (BRC) and International Standard Organization (ISO) and Safety Quality Food Certification (SQFC) for their accreditation. Our instructor is a certified expatriate from USA.

Adejare Olawale Adegbuyi
Adejare O. Adegbuyi is a seasoned Food Technologist and communication expert, currently serving as Senior Partner at The Food Update Konsult. He holds a National Diploma (ND) from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, as well as both Bachelor (B-Tech) and Master (M-Tech) of Technology degrees in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State.
His professional development is complemented by entrepreneurial training at Fate Foundation and specialized training in Acting and Film Production Management at Senior Network Playhouse.
He is a certified Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) expert (International HACCP Alliance, USA), Yellow Belt Six Sigma (CSSC, USA), SQF System – Manufacturing, Food Safety & Hygiene, Warehouse Management (CPD Certification Services), and Food Safety Preventive Control Alliance (FSPCA) – PCQI – Human Food.
Adejare is a member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), USA; a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Food Science & Technology (NIFST); and a member of the National Association of Theatre Nigerian Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), where he served as Director of Social, Ogun State Chapter (2014).
His academic contributions include research on street foods, food safety, and traditional food processing techniques, with notable projects supervised by leading academics.
He has co-authored publications presented at international conferences, such as the IAFP and IFT Annual Meetings, and contributed to the book “Yinka Qaudri… Scent of a Legend.”
Adejare’s professional experience spans roles at the Ministry of Communication (Nigerian Postal Department), Spectra Food Limited, and the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, where he advanced from Communications Officer to Administrative Secretary.
He has consulted across food science, marketing, media, and communications, and is the publisher of “Movietainment Magazine” and founder of the Movietainment Achievement and Corporate Awards (MACA).
Active in professional and alumni associations, Adejare has served as National PRO of the FUTA Alumni Association Worldwide and as Public Relations/Welfare Officer of the African Church Grammar School Alumni Association.
He is dedicated to voluntary service and has participated in numerous conferences and training programs both locally and internationally.
Adejare is married with children, has traveled extensively across Nigeria and West Africa, and currently resides in the USA.
Dr. Dayo Odugbemi
Dr. Odugbemi is a distinguished Food Scientist with a doctoral specialization in Food Policies and Regulation. He earned his degree in Food Science from the prestigious Purdue University in Indiana, USA. With over 20 years of experience in the U.S. food industry, Dr. Odugbemi has built a global reputation for excellence and innovation.
His expertise spans multiple sectors within food processing, including beverages, bakery, dairy, milling, confectionery, and the meat and poultry industries. He is a multiple award winner, recognized for his outstanding contributions to the food processing industry, and is a widely acclaimed author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and publications.
A prolific instructor, Dr. Odugbemi teaches a variety of courses on food safety, quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. He has facilitated and instructed classes on nearly every continent, sharing his knowledge and passion for food safety with a worldwide audience.
As a seasoned food safety auditor, he has conducted audits at food facilities across the globe. Currently, he serves as the Global Director of Food Safety for one of the world’s largest food firms.
Dr. Odugbemi is an active member of several international organizations and societies related to food processing. He is a highly sought-after speaker at conferences and conventions, frequently presenting on the future of food processing. Additionally, he holds the traditional title of Otunba Akeweje of Ofiki in Oyo State, Nigeria.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Odugbemi is a Deacon in his local church. He is married and is blessed with male and female children.
